Abstract

The author examines the practical significance of Polish experience in the field of higher education and science development, the latest trends in the practical training of social workers in the Polish higher education school, the experience of ways to update it in the European educational space, and the theoretical approaches to the implementation of models of practical training of social workers in the Polish higher education school.
It has been investigated that along with the European models of supervision in Poland, the following models are used: the model of the observer (PIK-i from Sopot) and the model of periodic cooperation between (Louisa Venn Kessela oraz Dinne Hoon). In particular, the surveillance model (PIK and Sopot) works in practice (Model superwizji sopockiego PIK-u sprawdza się w praktyce).
The researcher notes that the goal of supervision in education, defined in the standard of Poland, is multidimensional. The orientations of social workers are directed to supervisory support: "focusing on oneself" and their own needs, "thinking about others" and combining supervision with the possibilities of effective help to clients. The main goal of supervision in the education of Poland is to improve the quality of work through training and counseling, strengthening social assistance workers and integration institutions in the field of working with a person, family, group and local community.
The results of the study traced the tendencies of supervision (support) regarding the practical training of social workers in Poland: the relevance of the European-wide orientation to the early special training of all professionals in the social sphere; a two-way link between the development of the scientific school of social work and the system of vocational training; preparation of a social worker in educational institutions of the church; decentralization of professional training management; rapid response of the system to changes in the social nature, requests of the regional labor market.
According to the results of the study, it has been found that supervision (supervision) in the theory and practice of training social workers in Poland has its own specificity, requires special study and forecasts the possibility of introducing a positive experience of supporting practical training through the experience in vocational training of social workers in Ukraine.
Key words: practical training, supervision, practical training, social support.
