Information For Authors

The Editor will be pleased to consider contributions provided they are not submitted for publication in other journals. Articles must be presented in their final form in English. Special attention should be given to quotations, footnotes and references, which should be accurate and complete. The submission of the text indicates that author's consent, in the event of its publication, to the automatic transfer of all copyrights therefor to the Publisher of the “Law & Society”.

 

 

 

Author Guidelines

Authors are obligated to send the scientific work intended for publication in an electronic form as a text file (.doc, .docx). The work should be prepared in accordance with editorial requirements.

The Editors reserve the right to proofread linguistic and technical aspects of the work submitted for publication within the scope not violating personal rights of authors and to refuse its publication if the work is not assessed as at least good in the course of the review process.

The Author’s failure to submit author’s corrections within the required time-limit shall mean his/her consent to the publication of the text in its current form.

Editorial requirements

Primary editorial requirements

The work should be prepared according to the following order:

  1. Title of work, centred, bold, capital letters.

  2. Full name of the author, academic degree/title, full affiliation (name of the faculty and university), address for correspondence and e-mail of the author and the ORCID identifier to be published in the author’s note.

  3. Information about the author must be stated in English as follows:

  1. Abstract (maximum 300 words).

  2. Keywords (minimum 5 & maximum 8 words).

  3. Content of the work. The work should be clearly divided into parts with the use of relevant headings (Bold, Italic or Roman).

  4. Bibliography (encompassing only literature cited in the text) is prepared according to the requirements stated below.

Requirements for bibliography and footnotes

Bibliography and footnotes must be prepared in accordance with the Chicago style (The Chicago Manual of Style – Notes and Bibliography), according to the template available at:

Sources of law and judicial decisions must be cited in footnotes without repeating them in the bibliography section, in accordance with the following templates:
