The journal Physics and Chemistry of Solid State is an academic, peer-reviewed periodical that publishes original research articles devoted to various aspects of solid-state studies. The journal welcomes contributions in the following subject areas:
- physical and mathematical sciences,
- chemical sciences,
- engineering and technical sciences.

Due to the ongoing Russian military invasion of Ukraine, the peer-review process at our journal has experienced significant delays. A number of our reviewers are currently engaged in defending Ukraine from the occupying forces. We understand that this may cause inconvenience to some authors, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We remain confident that Ukraine will prevail, and the Physics and Chemistry of Solid State journal will soon return to full operational capacity with even greater impact.
Accordingly, the journal Physics and Chemistry of Solid State temporarily does not accept submissions from authors with Russian institutional affiliations, due to the dual-use nature of research in physics and chemistry and the potential for its application in military and defense-related activities.
These restrictions are temporary and will remain in force until the Russian Federation withdraws from all occupied territories, pays full reparations, and abandons its militaristic goals
Our editorial team remains committed to the principles of open science and international collaboration. We look forward to a future in which scientific progress is once again guided solely by peace, cooperation, and mutual respect.

Authors may submit manuscripts for publication in the form of original research articles or comprehensive review papers.
The journal is intended for researchers, early-career scientists (including PhD students and students), and representatives of technology-driven companies.
PCSS Journal indexed in WoS (since 2017) and Scopus (accepted on Jan. 2020).
