Comparative analysis studies "politics of memory" and "historical policy" in Ukraine and Poland

Abstract

In the article investigated the question of development of politics of memory is investigational in Ukraine and Republic of Poland, her nature, essence, specific and structure, is analysed and certain. Transformation processes of the twentieth century changed the emphasis in the approach to the study and
understanding of the past, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. Especially acquired great urgency issues relating to the common history of peoples and nations, the formation of collective memory, designing new models of identity. The social and political processes of Ukraine and Republic of Poland for the last two decades had a lot in common enough. Counting out of the newest history for these two countries began in the end ХХ of century - in 1989 in Poland on parliamentary elections opposition party won and the communist mode was anniented, and in 1991 Ukraine got independence. Events of recent years have shown the need for reassessment of the past and memory designing new policy of both countries. In Ukrainian and Polish formed their circle of
scientific approaches to understanding memory. "Politics of memory" and "historical politics" are an extraordinarily important instrument in the hands of power, that influences the worldview of the individual and citizen, predetermining high mobilizational potential. Memory about general life of our ancestors holds our families in a heap, she unites greater associations, such as nations. This phenomenon causes considerable interest, as in the states so in society on the whole. In a scientific circle both held "Memory of studies " confidently steps to forming in new independent discipline with the outlined object and research field.
