Abstract

The article highlights the current state of study of the actual problems of Lithuania's foreign policy in Lithuanian and foreign political science. The subject of consideration is, first of all, the specialized journals of recent years with publications on this subject. Most fully covered: Lithuania's European integration course and some aspects of interconnections with the EU, joint European programs and projects; the influence of the "Russian factor"; methodology and means of implementing foreign policy. Among the specific problems, the greatest attention is paid to energy security, which deals with a large number of multi-dimensional publications, both narrow-minded and generalizing. Relations with Belarus and Ukraine are devoted to a modest amount of articles and other studies, although the official Vilnius emphasizes the special nature of relations with Minsk and the support of the movement of Ukraine to Europe. But the conclusion is that in the media this direction of foreign policy is being used by much more attention of experts and journalists.
