Abstract

The article analyzes the main provisions of the communication of state authorities and the public. Modern European trends indicate the importance of citizen participation in management projects. The basic communicative components of the state for dialogue with citizens are determined. The tasks of communication in public administration are to ensure public support of government actions, which is achieved by raising the level of citizen's trust in state institutions. The most used means of interaction between the state and citizens are investigated on the example of experience of European countries. Communications for joint decision-making, such as joint discussion, public councils and hearings, the dissemination of important information in society, are
highlighted. Further efforts are needed to improve the response of public authorities to improve tools, core procedures and taking into account the results of public consultation in decision-making. A good example of state communication is the experience of the Czech Republic, Poland, Great Britain and Finland. These countries have created a number of programs and projects on cooperation with citizens.
