Abstract

The article is devoted to the essence and content of relations between the United States and Latin America.. The history of establishing relations and approaches to the embodiment of US interests in the region are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the place of the Latin American region in the system of American national interests. The author focuses on the situation in Venezuela.
