Abstract

This article deals with analysis of development of legislation in the sphere of transplantation within the European Union. The present paper describes the main regulations of the Council of Europe, as well as the acts of the European Union, which served as the basis for the beginning of the legal regulation of transplantation. Characteristic of main legal documents, that made possible to regulate in detail all the nuances of the transplantation of organs, tissues, cells, human blood and blood componentswas made.
