Information For Authors
Submission Guidelines
The editorial board of the collection of scientific articles "Actual Problems of Improving the Current Legislation of Ukraine" accepts for publication articles that have not been previously published in other publications, that correspond in content to the scope of the collection, and that have been carried out at a high professional level.
General Requirements
Submissions are accepted in Ukrainian, with a maximum length of 12 pages.
Technical Formatting Parameters
The article should be prepared in Microsoft Word for Windows. Font — Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing — 1.5. Page parameters: top margin — 2 cm, bottom — 2 cm, left — 3 cm, right — 1.5 cm. Paragraph indentation — 1.25 cm. Pages are not numbered.
Structural Elements of the Article
The text of the article shall be arranged in the following order:
- UDC index.
- Title of the article (in capital letters).
- First name, patronymic, and surname of the author(s) (in full).
- Academic degree and academic title, position, place of employment.
- ORCID identifier (mandatory); Scopus Author ID, Researcher ID (provided where indexed publications in Scopus / Web of Science are available).
- Abstract and keywords in Ukrainian and English, with a length of no less than 1,800 printed characters (including spaces), accompanied by a translation of the title of the article and the name(s) of the author(s). The abstract shall include a concise statement of the relevance, the aim, and the main findings of the research.
- Main text of the article.
- List of references ("References").
Substantive Structure of the Article
The text of the article shall contain the following components:
— a statement of the problem in its general form and its connection with important scholarly or practical tasks;
— an analysis of recent research and publications in which the resolution of the problem has been initiated and on which the author relies, with the identification of previously unresolved aspects of the general problem to which the article is devoted;
— the formulation of the aim of the article;
— a presentation of the principal material of the research, with full substantiation of the scholarly findings obtained;
— conclusions drawn from the research and prospects for further studies in the field.
Formatting of Tables and Illustrations
Tables and illustrations shall be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals. Notes to tables shall be given only in the text. Captions for illustrations shall be placed below them; captions for both tables and illustrations shall be centred.
Figures and photographs (black-and-white, with greyscale gradations) shall be embedded directly in the text of the article and additionally submitted as separate files in one of the following formats: TIFF, PCX, JPG, BMP, or CDR.
In-text Citations and List of References
References to sources shall be given directly in the text: square brackets indicate the reference number of the source in the list of references, followed, after a comma, by the specific page number.
The list of cited literature shall be compiled in the order in which the sources are referred to in the text. The heading "References" shall be set in bold. The list of references shall be formatted in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015 "Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of compilation". For the purpose of improving the quality of academic citations, the DOI of a source must be indicated in the list of references where one is available.
Final Provisions
The editorial board reserves the right to peer review, edit, abridge, or reject articles. Responsibility for the accuracy of facts, statistical data, and other information rests with the author. The reprinting of materials from the collection is permitted only with the consent of the author and the editorial board.
