The journal ”THE ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF REGIONAL ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT” adheres to the principles of academic integrity,transparency, and international best practices in scholarly publishing.

The journal ensures:
- transparency of manuscript submission, peer review, and publication processes;
- editorial independence and impartial decision-making;
- prevention of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of scientific misconduct;
- clear identification of authorship contributions;
- management of conflicts of interest;
- transparent procedures for complaints and appeals;
- clearly defined retraction, correction, and erratum procedures.

 

Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate open access to all published content in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
All articles are freely available without subscription, supporting global dissemination of scientific knowledge.

 

Article Processing Charges

The journal provides open “Diamond Access” (free for both authors and users) for all articles and issues. There are no submission or publication fees in our journal. An article submission and its processing, i.e. reviewing, editing and publishing, are free of charge for all authors (including third-level higher education students who submit articles individually or as co-authors).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

Policy on the Publication of Research Involving Humans, Animals, and Data

The journal’s scope does not include the publication of studies involving experiments on humans or animals. The editorial policy of the journal requires adherence to ethical standards in the conduct of research. If the study involves human participants (including surveys, interviews, or sociological research), authors must ensure informed consent, confidentiality of personal data, and compliance with the applicable legislation of Ukraine on personal data protection.

 

Compliance with DORA and FAIR Principles

Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA)

The journal endorses the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

The quality of submitted manuscripts is evaluated solely on the basis of their scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope, rather than on journal-based metrics such as impact factor.

The editorial board:

  • does not use journal-level metrics as the primary evaluation criterion;
  • promotes responsible and fair research assessment;
  • supports diversity of research outputs;
  • encourages transparency in authorship contributions and responsible citation practices.

 

FAIR Data Principles

The journal supports the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) for research data management.

The editorial board encourages authors to:

  • ensure the findability (Findable)of research outputs through the use of persistent identifiers such as DOI and ORCID;
  • provide open access (Accessible)to publications and, where possible, to underlying research data;
  • use widely accepted formats and standards to enable interoperability (Interoperable);
  • facilitate the reuse (Reusable)of research data through appropriate documentation, licensing, and citation.

 

Advertising Policy

The journal accepts proposals for online academic advertising, provided that such advertising does not influence editorial decisions.
