Abstract

The aim of the article is to substantiate theoretical and methodological foundations and develop practical recommendations for the formation of an organizational and economic mechanism for providing enterprise restructuring under conditions of instability of the national economy, characterized by high risk levels, environmental uncertainty, and financial imbalances.

The study employs a set of general scientific and specialized methods, including: analysis and synthesis – to generalize theoretical approaches to enterprise restructuring; a systems approach – to determine the structure of the organizational and economic mechanism; comparative analysis – to evaluate existing crisis management tools; economic and statistical methods – to identify trends in enterprise functioning under unstable conditions; and modeling – to build an effective restructuring mechanism.

In the course of the study, the essence of the organizational and economic mechanism for ensuring enterprise restructuring is substantiated as an integrated system of interconnected elements, which includes organizational, financial, economic, legal, and managerial tools for influencing an enterprise's crisis state. It is determined that the key characteristics of such a mechanism under conditions of instability are adaptability, flexibility, comprehensiveness, and a risk-oriented approach. The role of adaptability, flexibility, and a risk-oriented approach in the restructuring process is substantiated. An improved enterprise restructuring mechanism is proposed, which provides for the integration of tools for financial recovery, restructuring, crisis management, and strategic planning, taking into account the impact of external and internal instability factors.

It is proven that the effectiveness of enterprise restructuring under modern conditions depends on the comprehensiveness and consistency of organizational and economic measures, the timeliness of their implementation, and the ability of the enterprise to adapt to environmental changes. The proposed mechanism contributes to increasing the financial stability of enterprises, minimizing bankruptcy risks, and ensuring their long-term development amid the instability of the national economy.
