SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE STRATEGIC ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES

The purpose of the study is to build a model for forming an enterprise strategy taking into account the requirements of the concept of sustainable development, to provide a case example of implementing a sustainable development strategy at an enterprise.
To achieve this goal, methods of analysis and synthesis, theoretical generalization and modeling were used.
As a result of the study, the relevance of adhering to the concept of sustainable development in the strategic activities of the enterprise was substantiated. The main tasks of sustainable development and the principles that must be taken into account when developing a strategy for an enterprise focused on sustainable development were considered, a model for forming a strategy for an enterprise focused on sustainable development was developed; directions and ways of implementing the concept of sustainable development in the strategic activities of an industrial enterprise were identified.
The proposed model of strategy formation taking into account the concept of sustainable development demonstrates the sequence of stages that must be followed in the process of forming and implementing the concept of sustainable development of an enterprise: determining the general goal of the enterprise, goals, strategic analysis of economic, environmental, social components of the external and internal environment that affect both increasing and decreasing the sustainability of the enterprise's functioning, developing strategic alternatives and choosing the optimal strategy that ensures the sustainable development of the enterprise at the current stage and in the long term; monitoring, evaluating and adjusting measures to implement the strategy.
As a positive case of implementing the concept of sustainable development, the strategic vision and implementation of the sustainable development strategy by Tarkett Corporation is considered. Such experience of an international company may be relevant for domestic industrial enterprises.
The application of the model of enterprise strategy formation taking into account the concept of sustainable development and the case of Tarkett Corporation allows enterprises to systematize actions aimed at implementing the principles of sustainable development at domestic enterprises.
