The purpose of the article is to analyze the impact of global economic trends on Ukraine's foreign economic policy and identify key factors affecting its adaptation to changing international market conditions.
The research methodology combines several approaches, including economic analysis, comparative research, and strategic planning for a comprehensive study of the impact of global economic trends on Ukraine's foreign economic policy.
It was found that the main global economic trends that have a direct impact on Ukraine's foreign economic activity include the following determinants: globalization and changes in international trade, digitalization and technological innovations, changes in the energy sector, changes in global trade agreements and regional integration, climate change and their impact on the world economy. A SWOT analysis matrix was constructed, which allowed for a better assessment of opportunities and threats for Ukraine in the context of global economic changes, as well as its strengths and weaknesses.
In the context of global economic changes, Ukraine needs to adapt its foreign economic policy in order to maintain stability and ensure sustainable growth. In this regard, it is necessary to implement strategies that will reduce economic risks and maximize opportunities for development.
Recommendations are substantiated for optimizing Ukraine's foreign economic policy in the context of global economic changes: diversification of foreign trade partners; investment in innovation and green economy; improvement of the business climate and legal environment; development of human capital and education; energy security and diversification of energy sources.
The practical significance of the study lies in its ability to provide an effective basis for developing strategic decisions that will contribute to the stable development of the country in a changing global environment. The results of the study can be used to improve the policy of diversification of foreign economic relations, reduce economic risks and maximize the benefits from new technological and energy trends.
