Літературно-критична та наукова рецепція життєвого та літературного спадку Всеволода Нестайка

У статті проаналізована критична та наукова рецепція життєвого та літературного спадку знакового для української літератури для дітей та юнацтва письменника – Всеволода Нестайка (1930–2014). Різножанровий та оригінальний творчий доробок письменника яскраво віддзеркалює соціокультурні процеси в Україні XХ ст., а його постать була та є досі «еталоном» уявлення про успішного українського дитячого письменника. Він єдиний із вітчизняних прозаїків другої пол. ХХ ст., які писали тільки для дітей, уже століття залишається затребуваним автором.
З’ясовано, що сприйняття та критичне осмислення його творчості у межах вітчизняного дискурсу співвідносне з етапами становлення та інституалізації дослідницької царини в галузі літератури для дітей та юнацтва в Україні.
На першому етапі (1956–1990 рр.) рецепції літературної спадщини В. Нестайка існувала лише її фрагментарна, значною мірою суб’єктивна літературно-критична оцінка. Водночас популярність творів В. Нестайка сприяла появі в Україні позитивного образу-іміджу «дитячого письменника» як непересічної художньої особистості, соціально значимої персони, причетної до формування й артикуляції загально важливих ідей.
Наукова рецепція щодо В. Нестайка виникає у перші десятиліття незалежності (1991–2013 рр.), ознаменовані появою сталого наукового дискурсу в царині дослідження літератури для дітей і юнацтва в Україні. Ця галузь літератури в той час починає відігравати дедалі помітнішу роль у формуванні світоглядних, політичних та естетичних поглядів суспільства, що призводить до перегляду ідеологічних конотацій доробку та іміджу письменника.
Упродовж драматичного десятиліття війни (2014–2024 рр.) постать і літературний спадок В. Нестайка цілісно та ґрунтовно переосмислюють на модерних методологічних засадах і остаточно закріплюють у межах канону української літератури для дітей і юнацтва.
