INSURGENT KRYVKA IN THE PISTYN, KOSIV DISTRICT: AN ATTEMP OF HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION

Abstract

The article describes the history of searches of the UIA and the Armed Forces of the OUNR in the territory of the village of Pistyn of the Kosiv district of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, which ended with the discovery of the actions with insurgent documents of 1947–1951 and the construction of the Kryivka-Museum in this place on the site of the tourist and cognitive complex. A brief description and analysis of the content of the detected materials is given under the angle of the role and significance of the identified and reconstructed in the upbringing of the younger generation and the rethinking of ideological concepts of older people, formed under the influence of false enemy propaganda.
