Author Guidelines
- General Information
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the journal’s online submission system:
https://journals.pnu.edu.ua/index.php/jpnuphil/submission
The journal is aimed at advancing contemporary research in the field of Humanities and Arts (specialty B11 Philology) and supports interdisciplinary approaches that expand conceptual, methodological, and interpretative possibilities.
The journal accepts manuscripts in English. Ukrainian-language submissions are also accepted with a corresponding English version.
- Manuscript Structure (IMRaD)
The manuscript must follow the standard scientific structure:
- Title
- Authors (full names) and affiliations
- Abstract (up to 200 words)
- Keywords (up to 10)
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods / Theoretical Framework
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- Acknowledgements (if applicable)
- Funding information
- Conflict of Interest statement
- Data Availability Statement (where applicable)
- References
The title should be concise and reflect the scientific content.
The recommended length is:
- up to 8–10 pages for research articles;
- up to 25 pages for review papers.
- Formatting Requirements
No specific formatting template is required at the submission stage.
The editorial office performs professional typesetting after acceptance.
Authors are requested to:
- use clear scientific language;
- use SI units;
- ensure equations are editable (MS Equation Editor);
- submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Figures and Tables
Figures must be of high quality:
- minimum 300 dpi for photographs;
- 500–1000 dpi for line drawings;
- accepted formats: TIFF or JPG.
All figures and tables must be clearly cited in the text.
Figures must be readable and must not contain excessively small fonts.
- References
References must be numbered in the order of citation in the text.
All references must be written in English.
Where available, DOIs must be provided.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of references.
- Ethical and Editorial Requirements
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- the manuscript has not been previously published in a peer-reviewed journal;
- it is not under consideration elsewhere;
- all authors meet authorship criteria and have approved the submission;
- conflicts of interest are disclosed;
- funding sources are declared;
- a Data Availability Statement is included (where applicable);
- any use of artificial intelligence tools is transparently disclosed;
- if the manuscript has been posted as a preprint, this has been declared.
The journal follows COPE Core Practices in handling ethical issues.
- Suggested Reviewers
Authors may suggest up to two potential reviewers, including their affiliation and institutional email address. The final selection of reviewers remains at the discretion of the editorial board.
