Editorial Statement

The Editorial Board of Journal of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Philology operates in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and internationally recognized academic publishing standards.

Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scientific merit, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

In light of the ongoing military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the journal may implement certain operational measures in compliance with national legislation and institutional regulations. Such measures may include:

  • temporary suspension of the acceptance and consideration of manuscripts submitted from the territory of the aggressor state;
  • temporary suspension of the acceptance and consideration of manuscripts submitted from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in cases where it is impossible to properly verify information about the author, institution, affiliation, or sources of research funding;
  • refusal to accept or consider manuscripts submitted by individuals, institutions, or organizations subject to sanctions in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine;
  • temporary suspension of cooperation with authors, reviewers, members of editorial structures, or other persons who have an established connection with the aggressor state or with institutions that support or legitimize its aggressive policy;
  • use of remote communication, electronic document flow, and online meetings of the Editorial Board to ensure the continuity of the editorial and publishing process under martial law.

The journal remains committed to the principles of academic integrity, open science, and international scientific cooperation, and looks forward to a future in which scientific progress is guided exclusively by peaceful collaboration and mutual respect.
