The morphology and structure of the prepared nanomaterials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, infrared, soft X-ray emission spectroscopy (SXES C Ka), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and photoluminescence (PL). The combination of C3N4Ox with anatase in the composite allowed the expansion of the photosensitivity of TiO2 in the visible spectrum region, with spectral absorbance occurring above 400 nm and decreasing band gap to 2.2 eV.
