Abstract

The research focuses on the specifics of political modernization in Central and Eastern Europe countries. Based on the analysis of such phenomena and processes as the political regime, the market economy, the political elite and human rights, participation in European integration, the patterns of political
modernizationare determined: the liberal-democratic, authoritarian and hybrid.
