Information communications in the Ukrainian media space: impact on society

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of information space of Ukraine in the present conditions and ways of influence of media on the consciousness of the audience. It is noted that at the present stage the majority of Ukrainian media is dependent on oligarchic clans or political elites, which does not contribute to constructive work and two-way communication.

The necessity of introducing means of counteracting foreign information expansion, establishing bilateral communication interaction and using the media as a mechanism for promoting the cultural, spiritual and social values of Ukrainian society are emphasized.
