Стаття присвячена актуальній темі – фінансуванню проектів розвитку територій за рахунок коштів Державного фонду регіонального розвитку (ДФРР). Мета – виявлення проблем та окреслення перспектив реалізації проектів регіонального розвитку, які беруть участь у конкурсі на фінансування ДФРР. Результати полягають у аналізі стану фінансування та розкритті проблемних аспектів відбору проектів для отримання коштів ДФРР. Новизна – в обґрунтуванні рекомендацій щодо удосконалення діяльності ДФРР. Практична значущість зводиться до надання конкретних пропозицій з розв’язання проблем інституційного, фінансового характеру у функціонуванні ДФРР.
