Bioethics Policy
The Editorial Board and the editorial staff of the journal «Information Technologies and Engineering Electronics» support a policy aimed at ensuring compliance with the principles of Bioethics Policy.
Requirements for manuscripts related to the publication of research results involving humans, animals or their biological materials, personal or confidential data, and subject to the relevant legislation of Ukraine, are based on compliance with:
- the rules recommended by the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Research and Other Scientific Purposes (Strasbourg, 1986), as well as the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE);
- all experiments involving laboratory animals, materials of human origin or with the participation of donors and patients must be conducted in accordance with the rules of bioethics. When describing animal studies, it is necessary to indicate which institutional or national recommendations were followed during the procedures.
If there are doubts about the compliance of the study with the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki or similar standards, the authors should submit materials for an opinion to the Bioethics Commission of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University https://cnu.edu.ua/komisiia-z-bioetyky/.
