The article covers the main problems of archeology of the preannalistic Halych as a political and religious center of the Great Croatian Principality. In particular, the author made conclusions about the pagan sacred nature of the early Halych in the second half of the tenth century on the basis of a new interpretation of the annalistic Halychyna Grave in the structure of the Krylos settlement polis.
