DID «YAROSLAV OSMOMYSL» EXIST? ABOUT THE SCIENTIFIC PROPRIETY OF GALICIAN DUX YAROSLAV VOLODYMYRKOVYCH’S NICKNAME USE

The article deals with the problem of propriety of using the nickname Osmomysl conserning the duke Yaroslav Volodymyrkovych. The author analysed the reports of early Rus’ chronicles and The Tale of Igor’s Campaign and made the conclusion that the use of nickname Osmomysl concerning this Galician ruler in scientificly inappropriate. The author considers the use of Yaroslav Volodymyrkovych to be more valid.
