INTEGRATION MODELS OF REVITALIZATION OF HISTORICAL SETTLEMENTS: INDICATORS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPECTS FOR ANCIENT НALYCH

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern integration models of archaeological heritage museification in order to outline possible prospects for the development of the ancient settlement in Ukrainian Нalych. Analysis of the indicators of sustainable development of the model of museification of the ancient settlement within the National Reserve “Ancient Нalych” revealed the main problems associated with its effective management. Based on an empirical study of 11 museumized ancient settlements in six European countries, an indicator-criteria approach to assessing the effectiveness of museification strategies is proposed. The study allowed us to identify and empirically confirm the main criteria for the impact of heritage, as well as to consider in detail the principles of their action in socio-cultural, economic and environmental contexts. Three integration models are identified that take into account key aspects of the accessibility of archaeological heritage (physical, informational, inclusive) and its impact on sustainable development. Particular attention is paid to the concept of the outside-system – a comprehensive exhibition model that ensures the integration of archaeological monuments into the modern cultural and tourist space. The results of the study can be used to develop or improve archaeological heritage management strategies, develop effective models of its revitalization and promote its sustainable development.
