The archive of the library of the National Reserve “Ancient Halych” preserves numerous scientific reports from archaeological, ethnographic, historical, local history, and research (survey) expeditions. Over more than thirty years of the Reserve’s activity, these materials have formed a valuable resource for scholars. The earliest archaeological report concerns excavations conducted under the supervision of archaeologists Volodymyr Baran (Kyiv) and Bohdan Tomenchuk (Ivano-Frankivsk) during the 1995 field season. The main work was carried out at the Krylos hillfort in the village of Krylos, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Most of the discovered artifacts and findings were added to the museum collection of the newly established Reserve. This report is published in accordance with the original, preserving all its features of formatting, abbreviations, orthography, and the included drawings, tables, and photographs.
