Abstract

The article reveals the essence and significance of professional etiquette as an integral component of the professional training of law students. It is noted that the modern conditions of legal education development require reorienting the educational process toward the formation of not only legal knowledge and practical skills but also a high culture of professional behavior, moral convictions, and communicative competence. Attention is drawn to the fact that the professional etiquette of a lawyer serves as an important factor in shaping their legal culture, professional image, and public trust in the legal profession.

The study identifies innovative approaches to developing ethical competence among students majoring in Law, including the integration of ethical training elements into academic disciplines, the use of case-based learning technologies, modeling of professional situations, business games, debates, and situational exercises.

Special attention is given to the role of the instructor as a mentor and bearer of professional ethical values. The pedagogical conditions for the effective formation of professional etiquette are defined, including the humanistic orientation of the educational process, partnership-based interaction between instructor and student, systematic ethical education, and the connection between the learning process and future professional activity.

It is concluded that the implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies in the training of law students ensures the comprehensive development of their professional and ethical culture, fostering skills of ethical communication, tolerance, responsibility, and adherence to legal and moral norms in professional practice.
