Abstract

The article deals with the problems of methodological reflection in the field of personology, aimed at the methodological assessment of psychological theories as well as the state and objectives of psychological practice, the influence of general civilizational tendencies, a man’s inner world and his existential dominants at the current stage. The goals of psychology aimed at the solution of problems connected with the modern world improvement, prevention of problems in the personality’s development were formulated. It was claimed that modern psychology lags behind in solving the problems of personology, which seldom provides their optimal solutions, does not take into consideration the real human ontology; modern narrative psychology was assessed. The article focuses on the problem of a man’s inner world content, the necessity to take into account his spiritual I, the fact that psychological science is not oriented to discovering the characteristics of a healthy personality and learning a healthy lifestyle, the clarification of the link between individual and common aspects in human nature, the problem of correlation between a person’s life in real and virtual worlds, the interaction with artificial intelligence phenomena. We set the task to create new methods of personality research, to clarify the content and organization of professional psychological education and to analyze the achievements of Ukrainian psychological science. It was emphasized that ethical issues should be included in psychological science, methodological orientations of a personal therapist and a practical psychologist’s professional responsibility. The destructive moments in the practical implementation of psychological knowledge were described.
