Abstract

The article substantiates the necessity of forming the creative personality of schoolchildren in the modern social conditions, reveals theoretical approaches to the definition of the concepts of "student's creative ability", "creative ability". The basic qualities of the creative personality of the student are highlighted. The classification of modern techniques used to form students' creative personality is given. The basic theoretical propositions related to the development of creative thinking and the formation of creative personality are revealed.

 It is determined that the process of development of students 'creativity in modern conditions of social development is aimed primarily at forming the skills of students' research activities and a sense of involvement in culture and cultural values. It is theoretically proved that general and special abilities are revealed only through the motivational structure of the individual, his or her value orientations. The central mechanism for the realization of creative abilities is reflection. From different scientific standpoints, individual educational models (model based on dynamic theory of giftedness; J.S. Renzulli’ model) are directed to the development of creativity of students. The theoretical and methodological bases of the models concerning the management mechanisms of their functioning and the predicted changes of the children studying under this model, the content and teaching methods are considered. The concept of support as a new ideology of the educational process and a special way of helping the child in overcoming problems of development are characterized.
