Abstract

The article briefly analyzes the changes in the interpretation of the term content of media literacy according to the modern tasks of Ukrainian higher education. Besides, the prediction of further development of media literacy as a competence is made, and five main principles of media literacy, concerning scientific messages, are interpreted. Short guidelines of these principles are given and they are based on the discussions of the student scientific club’s meetings.
