Abstract

In this article the preconditions of the emergence of the educational movement and the revival of hutsul school in Western Ukraine are highlighted. The contribution of the outstanding scholars and pedagogue- practitioners into the development of ideas of Hutsul Science and their implementation into the educational process of the modern Ukrainian national school have been analyzed. There have been discovered the role of the representatives of the hutsul scientific organizations in diaspora in studing and preserving the historical past, traditions and customs of Hutsul Region. The core of the hutsul school and hutsul Science conception as an educational subject have beenhighlighted in the article. Much attention is paid to the necessity of profound study of the life and activity of the outstanding representatives of hutsulshchyna - their politics, scientific activists of culture and church.
