THE CONTENT OF THE PROCESS OF FORMING STUDENTS’ CITIZENSHIP VALUES IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

In the article the author investigates modern approaches to the definition of the concept of "citizenship", "civil society", "civic values"; defines characteristic features of various scientific theories in the context of the problem of forming an active civic position in the educational environment of an educational institution. The author notes that the necessity of civic education of young people, the development of a unified state policy in the field of civic education and education, a national goal and a civic ideology that could consolidate Ukrainian society on the basis of national and civic values is now universally recognized.
