Abstract

The article reveals the significance of the influence of the European philosophical ideology on the actualization of scientific knowledge of students of the Dnieper region universities in the XIX century. It emphasizes that since the opening of the above-mentioned universities the attention of student youth has been focused not on the need to develop rational thinking but not on the passive perception of scientifically established concepts.

The research summarizes the significance of the impact of foreign professors’ students on scientific cognition, which directed students at the involvement in the subject reflections of flexible thinking allowing the depth of understanding the truth.
