The article examines the peculiarities of domestic experience, the current state of development of the quality assurance system of higher education. It is noted that at the present stage of development of higher education the task of ensuring the quality of education remains multifaceted and multifaceted, involves the availability of the necessary human, financial, material, informational, scientific, educational and methodological resources; organization of the educational process that corresponds to modern trends in the development of national and international education; control of the educational activity of the university and the quality of training at all stages of education at the university, state and international levels. Among the priority steps towards modern development of quality assurance in higher education are academic integrity, implementation of state policy to support the use of English in higher education in Ukraine, participation in the European Union's Horizon 2020 Framework Program, ensuring competitiveness of Ukrainian scientists at the international level. integration in education and science into the European Union.
