Abstract

The article reveals the regional ethnography aspect of research concerning the life and works of Joseph Conrad, analyzes the issue of studying this topic in educational institutions of Ukraine at various levels, and presents the author’s work. The researcher presented the developed innovative methods of processing the writer’s biography through the author’s multimedia project “Writer as a Personality”, demonstrated the using critical thinking strategies, in particular, “thick and thin” questions in the process of analyzing the work “Heart of Darkness”, revealed the features of creating graphic systematizers during the disclosure of characters, images-symbols of the story.
