Abstract

The article highlights the experience of preparing Doctors of Philosophy in the specialty 015 Professional Education (by specializations) at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The regulatory requirements for the structure and content of educational and scientific programs for the training of applicants at the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education, curricula, a list of competencies, and program learning outcomes according to the National Qualifications Framework are clarified.

The experience of implementation and development strategies of the educational-scientific program "Professional Education" at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is summarized.

The goals and objectives of the educational-scientific program "Professional Education," aimed at training competitive, highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff capable of innovative research, scientific-pedagogical, project activities, solving complex tasks in the field of professional education, and conducting their own comprehensive research, the results of which have scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance for the development of education and science in the western region of Ukraine and the country as a whole, are defined.

It is considered that the training in the educational-scientific program is based on the combination of research-innovative, scientific-pedagogical, organizational-experimental, project activities through traditional and innovative forms and methods, providing the possibility of forming an individual educational trajectory for postgraduate students.
