Innovative types of tutorials for professional and methodological training of future teachers of Ukrainian literature

Abstract

Aim The article highlights the issue of modernization of tutorials introducing methods of teaching literature. The purpose of the article is to prove the theoretical principles of innovative organization of tutorials for training methods of teaching Ukrainian literature based on dialogical and creative approaches.

Methods For the research the systematic review of literature in philosophy, pedagogy and methods of teaching was conducted. Through the investigation of the system of higher education in modern universities the most prospective possibilities of such tutorials were studied. The methods allowed comparing the main aspects of different tutorials introducing methods of teaching literature.

Results In the article different approaches to conducting monological and dialogical tutorials were analysed. The tutorial of a «dialogue between a tutor and students» type was characterized and its difference from a monological tutorial was described. The tutorial «A Teacher behind the Door» was presented.

Scientific novelty Challenges for higher education modernization in Ukraine determine changes in professional and methodological training of future teachers of literature from stuffing students with knowledge, abilities and skills to training specialists who are ready for creativity, systematic assimilation of other teachers’ innovative experience, their own innovations production and constant self-development of creativity.

The practical significance The article is useful for the further study of the modern methods of teaching literature and problems of their implementation in higher education. The scientific results of the study may become the basis for the tutorials «Methods of Teaching Ukrainian Literature».
