MILITARY BURIALS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR IN HALYCH

The article investigates the military burials of the Second World War on the territory of Halych, Ivano-Frankivsk region, for the first time. The course of the main military operations of the Red Army with German and Hungarian subdivisions for capturing the city in July 1944 is described. The history of the appearance of military burials and their main characteristics are reconstructed. Coverage of this issue will allow to rank these objects among the monuments of the military history of Ukraine.
