The article analyzes the latest book by contemporary Ukrainian writer Hanna Danyliuk, «Ten Days Without War» (2025). The purpose of the article is to explore the theme of love against the backdrop of the current Russian-Ukrainian war through the prism of time and space. Research methodology. The study uses concrete-historical, hermeneutic, and receptive aesthetics methods. Scientific novelty: For the first time in Ukrainian literary studies, a recently published «short novel» (with scientific proof of the author's use of this genre) is analyzed in terms of the «author's chronotope» and its skillful interweaving with the «socio-historical chronotope» in the work. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that its results can be used in the study of contemporary works about the war of the first decades of the 21st century, as well as in understanding the work of Hanna Danyliuk.
