Adherence to the Principles of Open Science

The collection of scientific articles "Actual Problems of Improving of Current Legislation of Ukraine" adheres to the principles of open science and supports international initiatives aimed at ensuring the transparency, accessibility, and reusability of the results of scholarly research.

Open Access (Budapest Open Access Initiative)

The collection supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

All articles published in the collection are available in open access without any financial or technical restrictions for readers. The editorial board does not impose any restrictions on access to the full texts of publications and ensures permanent online access to the published materials. The collection supports diamond open access to all published materials - this means that publication is free of charge both for authors and for readers.

Open Abstracts (Initiative for Open Abstracts, I4OA)

The collection supports the principles of the Initiative for Open Abstracts (I4OA).

The abstracts of all articles published in the collection are open, freely accessible without restrictions, and may be freely indexed by search engines, scientific databases, and other open-access software tools. This ensures the maximum visibility of the research published in the collection for both the Ukrainian and the international scholarly community.

Open Research Information (Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information)

The collection shares the values and principles of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information.

The editorial board supports the openness of scientific information, the transparency of research processes, and the responsible use of bibliometric indicators, being guided by the principle that the evaluation of scholarly work must be based primarily on its substantive quality.

Further Aspects of Open Science

The editorial board of the collection also encourages authors to use persistent identifiers (ORCID, DOI), which ensures the unambiguous identification of authors and publications in the global scholarly environment. Where possible and in accordance with the standards of the field, the editorial board supports the openness of the research data underlying the published findings. Particular attention is paid to the transparency of editorial processes, including peer review, as well as to compliance with open licensing policies and the proper reuse of materials, in particular through the application of the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence.
