Ethical Standards of Research and Participant’s Consent

The Newsletter of Precarpathian University. Physical Culture strictly adheres to international ethical principles for research involving humans and animals.
Human ethics, informed consent.
Editorial board endorses the principles embodied in the Helsinki Declaration and expects that all research involving the humans has been performed in accordance with these principles. All human studies must receive an approval by the researchers of Institutional Review Board (Commision). A copy of the relevant documentation should be attached to the manuscript.
All investigations on human subjects must include a statement that the subject gave informed consent:
WHO ERC Informed consent; Informed consent (optional)
WHO ERC Informed parental consent for research involving children.
Privacy and Data Protection Policy
The journal complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) regarding the processing of personal data.
No personal identifiers may be published without the written consent of the individual concerned.
Data provided during manuscript submission (names, email addresses, ORCID IDs, affiliations, etc.) are used solely for editorial purposes and are not shared with third parties.
Authors, reviewers, and editors must handle all personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements and ethical confidentiality standards.
The publication of any identifiable personal information is strictly prohibited, including:
names, initials, identification codes;
diagnostic images that reveal facial or recognizable features;
IDs, barcodes, or QR codes that may identify an individual.
Adherence to these principles ensures that all publications in USMYJ comply with:
the Declaration of Helsinki (2013) – for human studies;
the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) – for data protection;
and the COPE, ICMJE, and WHO research ethical guidelines
