Abstract

The problem of criminal restrictions on freedom of speech in Ukraine is discussed. Author analyzes the criminal law of Ukraine in terms of norms that establish restrictions on freedom of expression and information and their compliance with the international obligations of Ukraine. It is found about 30 law relating to restriction of freedom of speech and information, which generally meet the requirements of necessity and feasibility of implementing a democratic society.
