Editorial policy
The Scientific Publication «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine» is a journal, the basis of which is the publication and dissemination of scientific articles among domestic and foreign scientists.
The purpose of the collection (journal) is to provide the opportunity to publish the research results of representatives of the scientific community to pay attention to current and perspective directions of the development of legal science, improvement of the current legislation of Ukraine, intensifying the discussion of certain issues in the scientific community in Ukraine and abroad.
The main task of the collection is to publish theoretical and scientific articles on the subject:
- theoretical, applied, philosophical and historical principles of legal regulation;
- private law;
- public law and policy in field of fight against crime;
- legal protection of the environment, legal regime for the use of natural resources.
The main purpose of the editorial staff is the program tasks of the publication, their implementation in the following directions:
- coverage of problems related to legal science, legal regulation of procedural and legal activity in modern Ukraine;
- promoting the development of the sciences in the field of law;
- support for young scientists.
Principles of editorial policy of the collection of scientific articles «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine»:
- impartiality, objectivity in the selection of articles for publication;
- compliance with high requirements for the quality of scientific research;
- duality and confidentiality of peer review of articles;
- collegiality in decision-making regarding publication of articles;
- promptness and accessibility in the process of communication with authors;
- strict observance of copyright and related rights.
The process of reviewing and adhering to editorial ethics
The collection of scientific articles «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine» adheres to the requirements of editorial ethics in accordance with the International Ethics Rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (Committee on Publication Ethics) regarding the principles of objectivity and impartiality of scientific publications.
The collection of scientific articles makes a major contribution to the development of relevant fields of science through the publication of research materials.
No form of discrimination is allowed in assessing the scientific content of a manuscript.
With the authors of articles that have been rejected for publication, the editorial board does not enter the discussion.
The purpose of reviewing materials is to improve the quality of articles published in the collection of scientific articles «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine», which is carried out by methods of independent evaluation of manuscripts by highly qualified specialists.
Peer review of materials in the collection of scientific articles «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine» is absolutely anonymous for the author and reviewer, the procedure is carried out by two independent reviewers (the process of «double-blind» peer review policy).
Manuscript data cannot be disclosed to editors or reviewers before they are published.
Compliance with the requirements posted on the site of the collection of scientific articles http://scijournals.pnu.edu.ua/index.php/apiclu/ in the section "Information for authors" and "Requirements for submission" is a prerequisite for acceptance of the article for consideration.
Upon receipt, the responsible secretary registers an article in the registration log and assigns a registration number. Head editor submits an article for review by a member of the editorial board or an external reviewer. The reviewer objectively evaluates the manuscript received within the specified timeframe.
The final decision to publish or reject the article is accepted by the regular meeting of the Editorial Board after receiving the reviews. The author shall be sent an e-mail with a general evaluation of the article on behalf of the responsible secretary, informing them of the decision taken by the Editorial Board. If the article can be published after revision / taking into account the comments - recommendations for revision are given / removal of the comments if the article is not accepted for publication - the reasons for this conclusion are explained.
After correcting the comments, the article is considered in the general manner.
In order to prepare the issue of the journal, the technical department of the editorial office carries out work on the article accepted for publication.
Further, work on the article accepted for publication is carried out by the technical department of the editorial board, to prepare the issue of the magazine.
The email addresses and names specified by the authors and users of the site are not distributed or shared with third parties, their use is possible only for internal technical tasks, communications during the preparation of material for publication.
All copyrights are retained for the authors, and the journal is granted the first publication right.
In accordance with the international rules of ethics of scientific publications, the collection of scientific articles «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine» recommends that authors do not exceed the degree of self-citation of 10%.
Submission of materials to the scientific collection of scientific articles «Actual problems of improving of current legislation of Ukraine» means automatic agreement of the authors with the submitted provisions. The editorial board reserves the right to review, edit, reduce and reject articles. The author is responsible for the accuracy of the facts, statistics and other information. Reprinting of journal materials is permitted only with the permission of the author and the editor.
