Self-Archiving / AAM Policy
Journal of the Precarpathian National University. Series: Biology supports the principles of Open Science and permits authors to self-archive their manuscripts and published articles without embargo.
1. Versions that may be archived
Authors are allowed to make the following versions of their article openly available:
1.1. Submitted manuscript
The version originally submitted to the journal before peer review.
1.2. Accepted Author Manuscript (AAM)
The final author-created version of the manuscript after peer review and all required revisions have been completed, accepted for publication, but prior to the publisher’s copyediting, typesetting, and formatting.
1.3. Published version / Version of Record
The final published version of the article as it appears on the journal website.
2. Permitted repositories and platforms
Authors may deposit permitted versions of their articles in:

institutional repositories of universities and research institutions;

national and subject-based repositories;
-
personal websites;
-
researcher profile systems and academic networking platforms;
-
non-commercial scholarly sharing platforms;
-
repositories required by funders or host institutions.
3. Embargo period
The journal applies the following policy:
Embargo = 0
This means that authors may deposit:
-
the Accepted Author Manuscript (AAM) — immediately upon acceptance;
-
the Published version / Version of Record — immediately upon publication on the journal website.
No embargo period applies.
4. Conditions of deposit
When self-archiving, authors should:

provide full bibliographic details of the publication;

indicate the journal title: Journal of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Biology;

include a link to the official version of the article on the journal website;

provide the article DOI, where available;
-
not alter the published Version of Record.
