Focus and Scope

The journal publishes original research articles and reviews in biology, with emphasis on molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, ecology, biodiversity, environmental biology, plant and animal biology, and biological aspects of sustainable ecosystems.

The journal does not consider manuscripts outside biological sciences, purely clinical case reports, popular-science essays, educational essays without original scholarly contribution, or manuscripts lacking a clear research question.
