Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the issue of communicative etiquette as a component of a teacher's profession. Compliance with the norms of communication etiquette is one of the mandatory personal characteristics (soft skills) of a teacher, which ensures the successful interaction of the teacher with other participants in the educational process. The authors of the article investigated the essence, structure, and meaning of communicative etiquette, and also clarified the essence and interrelationship of its components: speech etiquette and speech etiquette, non-verbal means of communication, ethical and emotional-behavioral components, listening skills and tone of communication. The authors focused on the importance of teachers adhering to the norms of communication etiquette for successful interaction, cooperation, creation and maintenance of a comfortable educational environment, as well as the importance of forming a culture of communication among future teachers of a modern Ukrainian school.
