Abstract

The article deals with the question of the emergence of ethnographic museum science in Ukraine and the creation of a museum of antiquities at Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. And also the symbolism of a Ukrainian towel, a Ukrainian shirt of Polissya region and Ukraine. Museum pedagogy is considered as an integrative new field of educational activity and as an innovative pedagogical technology in contemporary society.
