Abstract

In the article, the author, on the basis of psychological and pedagogical analysis, highlighted the peculiarities of training future teachers for the formation of the national identity of primary school students. The author proves that the beginning of the third millennium is marked by significant attention to the problems of national identity formation, recognition of its importance in the development of modern society and influence on the system of higher professional education. The prospect of further research is seen in the development of a system of training future teachers for the formation of the national identity of primary school students and its practical implementation.
