Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of the development of soft skills of future teachers in the educational process of higher education institutions. The authors of the article focused on the importance of the formation of soft skills in future teachers of modern Ukrainian primary schools, analyzed the views of domestic and foreign scientists on soft skills as a set of non-specialized super-professional skills. The article also examines the structure of soft skills in detail, analyzes and describes the "4K Model" and its components: critical thinking, creativity, communication, coordination. In addition, the authors of the article thoroughly revealed their own view on the practical application of a number of pedagogical technologies in the process of forming the soft skills of future teachers in the educational process of higher education institutions.
