Abstract

A study was conducted on the distribution of Origanum vulgare L., a medicinal plant that can be used in the future for producing food products, specifically spices or for preparing tea blends, in the Carpathian and Subcarpathian regions. The research aims to determine the potential for spreading O. vulgare L. in the natural conditions of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast for the subsequent cultivation of the plant on a large industrial scale.
